QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ABOUT MY LOAN

DO YOU PROVIDE A CONFIDENTIAL LOAN SERVICE?

  • Yes we do. We pride ourselves in providing a fast professional confidential service to our clients. Whilst we do not contact your employer, our lenders reserve the right to contact your employer depending on your personal circumstances to verify that you are in permanent employment or have returned to work from sick or maternity leave.

WILL YOU CHARGE ANY FEES OR CHARGES OF ANY KIND?

  • We do not charge any up front fees. In other words if you do not proceed with your loan for any reason, then no charge will apply.
  • On arrangement of your loan and depending on the loan amount and your circumstances we may charge a broker fee. In the case of a broker fee being charged then we will tell you at the outset. For example, a loan amount of £10,000 at 12.9% APR variable, the fee will be up to £200. The maximum fee that may be charged on all loan amounts will be £3000.

ARE YOU ABLE TO HELP IF I HAVE MORTGAGE ARREARS AND/OR COURT JUDGEMENTS?

  • Yes, although the repayment and interest rate that we quote may vary from the repayments that you have seen advertised. However, you can rest assured that whatever we offer, you will get the lowest interest rate and repayment available form our lenders, after taking into consideration your personal circumstances

CAN I PAY MORE THAN THE AGREED MONTHLY PAYMENT EACH MONTH?

  • As long as you pay the minimum agreed instalment, many lenders will allow you to pay as much as you wish. However it is best to let us know at the outset if you require this facility.

WHAT IF I NEED MORE MONEY IN THE FUTURE?

  • Once your loan has been running between three to six months, we can arrange a further advance for you, although this will depend on your personal circumstances at that time. Simply let us know the amount required by clicking on here

CAN I REPAY MY LOAN EARLY?

  • Yes at any time. You may be charged a redemption penalty depending on the lender that we use. If you require to settle your loan early please contact us by clicking on here.

I AM SELF EMPLOYED – WILL I STILL QUALIFY?

  • Yes we can help on most of our loan plans regardless of whether you have accounts available or not.

CAN I USE MY LOAN FOR ANY PURPOSE?

  • Yes. Although our lenders do require you to state the purpose of your loan, our loans are available for most purposes e.g.:

    Home Improvements, new or second hand car purchase, holiday, wedding or other special occasion expense, a boat or caravan, maybe a holiday home.

CAN I USE MY LOAN TO REPAY EXISTING LOANS, CREDIT CARDS, ETC.

  • Yes. It is not unusual for many of our clients seeking to repay their existing credit commitments and have just one monthly repayment. Loan can generally be arranged with monthly repayments from 5 to 25 years, although the maximum term of the loan may be determined by your reaching 70/75 years of age.

ONCE MY LOAN HAS BEEN AGREED HOW ARE MY LOAN REPAYMENTS MADE?

  • The majority of our lenders insist on payments being made by direct debit from a bank or building society account. However many also offer the facility of making payments by paying in book. You may also choose the day of the month that your loan payment is made to suite your circumstances, although some lenders apply the repayment date 30 days after your loan has been drawn down.

HOW LONG WILL YOU TAKE TO COMPLETE MY LOAN?

  • We endeavour to complete your loan within fifteen business days, however this will depend on how quickly you return your completed application form to us and any other papers that we may require e.g.: original pay slips and P60’s, completed direct debit instruction and details of any outstanding credit that is to be repaid. Also it will depend on how quickly we receive information from third parties in respect of references that our lenders may seek. We may also have to undertake a professional valuation of your property which we arrange in consultation with yourself at no cost. Hopefully this will not delay your loan as valuations can normally be arranged within twenty-four hours.
